A 360° Panoramic View For Wildly Ambitious Female Entrepreneurs Destined To Build A Million-Dollar Business

6 Unexpected Things You Can Do To Catapult Your 4th Quarter Results

Hmm, so where are you on finishing the next 90-days strong in your business? Right now, you have roughly 90-days to take the necessary corrective action to get yourself back on track, especially if you’ve drifted along the way.

Now you may be wondering with only 90 days left, how can you make this happen?

As a business coach, I find that the best way to start the process is to select your top priority and run with it for the next 90-days. This means getting super laser-focused on the one thing that will make the biggest difference for you and your business.

Start by asking yourself this question:

“What is the one thing that if I were to achieve it would catapult my business beyond what I currently see?”

Powerful question, don’t you think?

As female entrepreneurs, we’ve got to get into the habit of asking ourselves the hard questions in order to move us past the status quo or worse, the inertia of staying stuck in mediocrity – which is so not The Millionairess Entrepreneur’s way.

I get that it’s challenging to have to make a decision and select one thing to focus on especially when there are so many other things jockeying for your attention. But in order to finish the year better than you can imagine, it’s going to take making that BIG decision!

So here’s a technique I use with my clients called C.O.F.F.E.E.! (now the image makes sense, doesn’t it 😉 )

My C.O.F.F.E.E. model helps my clients sort through the mental clutter and chaos so they can identify “the thing” that will make the greatest difference for their business in the shortest amount of time.

These are 6 unexpected things you can do to catapult your results for the 4th quarter and finish your year strong. So, pick one, go to work on it and get it done!

Incompletion is the enemy of the female entrepreneur. When you leave things incomplete, you lose energy and momentum. And who has time for that these days?

“Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they’ve started.”

David Allen, author of Getting Things Done

Taking the time to complete things can make all the difference in the world to you and your business. Just think about all the little unfinished things that are taking up mental real estate in your head. Things like the email conversations you need to complete. Or the meeting over coffee you said you would schedule with the people you met at your last few networking events. All of these incompletions keep you stuck and slows down your productivity. So one of the best things you can do is set a goal to complete those things that are unfinished. This means putting a plan in place that targets 100% completion – nothing dangling, half-done, or left incomplete.

You can only increase to the degree to which you are sufficiently organized.

Is the one thing that would make the biggest difference for you and your business is to simply get organized?

“You can only increase to the degree to which you are sufficiently organized.”

Pastor Bill Winston

Think about those words for a moment. Increase in your business is a measure of how organized you are. One of my favorite quote around the topic of organization comes straight out of the Bible. It’s found in Proverbs 27:23 and says: “Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks and look well to thy herds.” It makes me think of being diligent and paying attention to the organization of my business accounting and finances. Just imagine for a moment how you could end the year strong when you have your finances in order. Or when you have the proper customer support systems and processes in place so that you are not struggling to do everything manually every time you acquire a new customer. So, how about it? Is it time for you to get organized? If so, which area of your business would yield the biggest results?

Follow-up is vital for achieving your goals. Not everything in your business is going to happen on the initial encounter or on first engagement. Success in business requires follow-up (and follow-through). In fact, following up is the one thing that can make the biggest difference for you in your business. Think about it… who are the people who you have not reached out to for weeks or month? They could be your next customer or lead you to one. Perhaps an outreach strategy is just the ticket. It’s time to pick up the phone and make it happen, capt’n!

Are you the bottleneck in your own business? This is not uncommon. What is it that you just need to finalize so that you are free to spend your time on more important things to grow your business? Distinct from “Complete”, I see “Finalize” as things that may require your signature, like the contract you haven’t signed. Or perhaps it’s the decision that you finally need to make that will move a critical process along. Get over the fear. Find out the answers you need. Trust your gut. Delegate what needs to be delegated and function as the female entrepreneur that you are. Finalize the darn thing.

What do you need to start, but have been dragging your feet on that would really position you and your business? Is there something that if you did execute on it within the next 90 days would catapult your business to a whole new level? Could it be that it’s time to pull the trigger and hire a business coach to help keep you accountable so you can achieve your goal by the end of the year? Hmm… Keep in mind that if you never take the step to execute it will never happen. #ExquisteExecution

Are you carrying too much unnecessary baggage in your business? Perhaps you have employees that you know are not a fit. Or perhaps you’re hanging on to a few bad habits that you know it’s time to jettison so you can step into your power as a female entrepreneur. Whatever it is that you are still doing, but have been hesitant to let go or eliminate – take action now.

Final Thoughts

It’s important to know where you’re at as the final quarter of the year gets underway, especially if you want to finish your year with strong results. And that means, in order to get what you want you’ve got to do deal with the things that are hindering you. The C.O.F.F.E.E. model is a great way to rid yourself of the mental clutter and chaos so you can identify the one thing you need to focus on for the next 90 days.

From there, watch as you catapult your 4th quarter results.
